Next Transformers Live-Action Title Revealed

The official Transformers twitter page has updated with the reveal of the title of the next live-action Transformers film titled, “Transformers Rise of the Beasts.” With this release it will mark the 7th live-action film for the franchise since the first Transformers film in 2007. The film will be produced by Hasbro, eOne, and Paramount Pictures. As reported earlier, the film will be written by Joby Harold and James Vanderbilt. Transformers R.E.D. 6 Inch Figure Series Revealed

Earlier today, IGN reported about a new line of Transformers articulated action figures called the R.E.D. (Robot Enhanced Design) series. The new line of figures will be similar to what is seen with Hasbro’s other properties such as the Star Wars Black Series, Marvel Legends, and the Power Rangers Lightning Collection. These figures will be fully posse-able and will include several accessories, however they will not be able to transform. Paramount Announces Live-Action Transformers Film Release Date

Earlier this year, it was reported that Paramount Pictures are producing two live-action projects based on the Transformers franchise. Alongside the announcement it was also reported that Joby Harold and James Vanderbilt were hired as the writers for the projects. Harold is currently working on the sequel to 2018’s Transformers: Bumblebee. Whereas, Vanderbilt is providing the script for the film based on Transformers: Beast Wars. Yesterday, Variety reported that Paramount Pictures is progress with their revamp of Hasbro’s live-action Transformers films series, following the success of Bumblebee. The intent of their new plan is to produce multiple films with branching storylines within the franchise. Also, Variety exclaimed that two scripts are simultaneously in active development: one written by Joby Harold and the other by James Vanderbilt. Hasbro has recently released official images of the new Transformers: Cyberverse deluxe figures that will be released in early 2020. Unlike the previous figures that were released for the series, this new line of figures are designed more in a Transformers Generations style while still maintaining the animated series aesthetics. Cartoon Network recently released a new trailer for the second season for Transformers Cyberverse. The trailer features a look at the premise of the second season and showcases several of the new characters.
