Over the weekend, Tamashii Nations announced that they will be releasing the previously teased S.H.Figuarts King Joe STORAGE Custom. However, along with the announcement it was confirmed that this item’s release would be through Premium Bandai. Now, for those unaware, this figure is based on the mecha kaiju, King Joe, who made its debut in Ultraseven. A new Ultra-related S.H.Figuarts has been released, so that means I must attempt to review the damn thing. This S.H.Figuarts comes from Ultraseven, as it is King Joe! Now, King Joe made his first appearance in episodes 14, and 15 in Ultraseven, before making other appearances in the franchise. Some of King Joe’s other appearances are also discussed in the video, for example King Joe Black and King Joe Scarlett. Earlier today, Tamashii Nations updated their page for the June 2017 Releases. Among the reveals was the next Ultra based S.H.Figuarts King Joe. Now, King Joe made its debut in Ultraseven during Episodes 14 and 15; it is a four piece robot created by the Pedans.
