When I first saw Doublecross/ Twinferno I was pumped to finally get an updated version of the character. The G1 version is actually a pretty great figure even today so I was excited to see an updated version of the character. Sadly the bubble burst when I actually got the figure in hand. Gizmodo has recently revealed some new toys for the Transformers RID toyline. What is really awesome is that many of these new reveals are homages to several characters from the Generation One continuity.
