Catwoman: Hunted Anime Film Announced

The Hollywood Reporter has announced that a new film based on the DC Comics character Catwoman is in the works at DC, Warner Bros. Animation, and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. The film titled, “Catwoman: Hunted,” is set to release in early 2022. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film will feature an “anime” style. Thundercats Film Adaptation in the Works

Deadline has reported that Adam Wingard has been hired to direct a Thundercats film adaptation for Warner Bros. According to Deadline, the film was originally being developed by Rideback’s Dan Lin with the help of Vertigo’s Roy Lee. The new script for the film will be written by Wingard alongside Simon Barett. Emerald Fennell to Write “Zatanna” Film

Variety has reported that Warner Bros. is currently working on a live-action film adaptation of Zatanna. Emerald Fenell has been hired to write the film with Warner Bro.’ DC Films and J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions producing. Zatanna was created by Gardner Fox and Murphy Anderson. The character made her debut in Hawkman #4, which was released in November, 1964. In the comics, Zatanna is a stage magician, but also has actual magical powers as well. The character previously had a debut live-action appearance on Smallville, portrayed by Serinda Swan.…
