Tiny Toons Looniversity Coming to HBO Max

Happy Wednesday heroes! We have some cartoon news that I’m sure will bring a smile to your face. We’ve learned that Tiny Toons Adventures will be coming back to the small screen. That’s right, HBO Max is reviving Tiny Toons Adventures and now it will become Tiny Toons Looniversity. To quote what we know about this upcoming series.

“Nearly 30 years after wrapping its three-season run, Babs, Buster Bunny and the rest of the Tiny Toons gang are returning with a two-season, straight-to-series order for Tiny Toons Looniversity at both HBO Max and its WarnerMedia sibling Cartoon Network.

The new half-hour animated comedy will again be produced by Steven Spielberg and his Amblin Television. Erin Gibson (Throwing Shade podcast) will serve as showrunner and co-exec producer alongside Nate Cash (Adventure Time). Amblin’s Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey will also exec produce alongside Spielberg.

The new series follows the Tiny Toons gang all the way to “Acme Looniversity,” the esteemed institution of higher hijinks learning, where young dreamers become professional toons. Here they form long-lasting friendships with one another and perfect their cartoony craft while studying under the greatest cartoon characters in history, the Looney Tunes.

I have to say that I’m excited for this continuation of this series. Now more than ever we need shows that we can laugh at so I’m invested into this new series. Knowing it’s been picked up with two seasons makes me feel as though HBO Max has faith in this shows success. As always comment down below and let us know what you think.
