Viz Media announced at Anime Expo 2019 that they will be releasing Transformers: The Manga Volume 1. For those who are not aware, the first volume will consist all eight issues of Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers, which was a manga series based on the Transformers brand that was printed in the TV Magazine. The two part prologue first launched in the magazine in 1985 and the following eight issues released in 1986. The manga took place after the second season of The Transformers aka Transformers Generation One and was mostly setup to promote the Scramble City toyline. The manga was followed up by a direct to video special known as “Scramble City: Mobilization.” With this release it will be the first time the manga will be released officially in North America so fans won’t want to miss out on this release.
