I would like to start off by saying Happy Fourth of July, heroes! Today, we have some interesting news directly from Power Morphicon itself. Power Morphicon, the official convention for all things Power Rangers, as well as Super Sentai in North America has announced their dates and location for PMC 7/ PMC 2020. Next year’s convention will feature the convention moving back to its home, but the convention is moving to an entirely different month. Thankfully, the press release which can be seen below will explain to fans what exactly is going on:
POWER MORPHICON CONVENTION ANNOUNCES 2020 DATES AND LOCATION!
Los Angeles, CA: Power Morphicon Convention, the world’s biggest Power Rangers Fan Convention announces its 2020 date and location. The convention is moving back to the Pasadena Convention Center, in Pasadena, California. Fan of the convention remember this location as the convention’s staple location since its second show in 2010, and will be excited to see that Power Morphicon Convention is taking over Pasadena once again!
Power Morphicon Convention will take place on Labor Day Weekend: September 4-6th, 2020.
The convention brings together the world’s largest group of celebrity guests tied to Power Rangers with numbers hitting over 200 individuals involved in the franchise. Power Morphicon Convention touts hundreds of vendors and artists selling Power Rangers toys, art, books, and apparel. Power Morphicon Convention will feature a full programming schedule, Photo Ops, contests and events, convention exclusive merchandise and more!

Tickets for Power Morphicon Convention will go on sale in August, 2019. Prices and show hours will be posted on the Official Power Morphicon website and social media.

So, as fans can see Power Morphicon is moving back to the Pasadena Convention Center, but will take place on Labor Day weekend. Now, the new dates for PMC 2020 either a good thing, or a bad thing for the convention since that is when the new school year begins, so it could affect attendance numbers. However, the return to Pasadena is the best move for PMC overall since our very own Wheelz, Soundout, and our sponsor CS Toys International were not too pleased with the Anaheim Convention Center last year.
