Deadline has reported that Elena Satine will be joining the cast of Netflix’s Cowboy Bebop live-action series as Julia. For those who are not aware, in the anime series Julia was a long time acquaintance to Spike Spiegal and served as a major plot related character throughout it.
The confirmed cast so far includes:
- John Cho: Spike Spiegal
- Mustafa Shakir: Jet Black
- Daniella Pineda: Faye Valentine
- Alex Hassell: Vicious
- Elena Satine: Julia
Alex Garica Lopez will directing the first two episodes of the series and the first episode will be written by Christopher Yost.
The live-action series adaptation was in the works since 2017 by Tomorrow Studios. The first season is set to consist of 10 episodes.
No other details are confirmed at this time so stay tuned for updates.
