Nintendo has updated their official Youtube channel with the reveal trailer for Kirby Fighters 2. For those who are not aware, the game is the sequel to Kirby Fighters Deluxe. The game was a 3DS eshop exclusive title that was released in 2014. The game was an expanded version of the sub game that was featured in Kirby Triple Deluxe. The trailer features a look at several of the characters that will be featured in the game. While most of the characters are Kirby variants, there are some non Kirby characters as well. Most of the various Kirby variants can be seen as the powerups featured in the various Kirby titles except for a new exclusive form known as Wrestler Kirby.

Additionally, the trailer took a look at the various modes featured in the game. Battle mode will allow people to fight up to four players either in free for all or in teams. Players will also be able to use items in battle and will need to look out for stage hazards. Players will also be able to play with a friend either locally and also online. In story mode of the game will feature players will need to fight through several other fighters before they can face King Dedede and Meta Knight. After each stage players will be able to pick items in order to boost their stats. Lastly, in single handed-mode players will fight one on one against nine combatants.
When players complete modes they will also receive fighters points, which can be used to alter Kirby’s appearances. Players will also be able to connect their save file from Kirby Star Allies in order to receive exclusive costumes.
Kirby Fighters 2 is now currently available on the Nintendo Switch eShop priced at $19.99.
