The official Mazinger Z anime film website has updated with the premiere date details for the upcoming anime film. The film will premiere in Japan on January 13, 2018. For those who are unaware the film’s story will be set as a sequel to the original Mazinger anime series.
As stated earlier, the film is set 10 years after the events of the original series. The main hero Koji Kabuto will follow his grandfather and father’s footsteps as a scientist. One day he discovers a mysterious large object that shows vital readings somewhere below Mount Fuji. Soon a new threat appears so what will this mean for Koji Kabuto.
The official twitter page also provided a new visual for the film.
