NIS Announces Destiny Connect RPG Game

Nippon Ichi Software (NIS) has announced that new RPG game titled, “Destiny Connect,” which is set to release for the Nintendo Switch and Playstation 4 on February 28.

Destiny Connect will focus on a 10 year old girl named Shari. The game will start in the year 2000 where Shari is watching the New Year fireworks with her mother. The town mysteriously freezes and strange machines takes the place of the citizens. Shari will need the help of her friend Pegureo and a robot named Isaac as they journey through time to solve the mystery.

Destiny Connect will feature full 3D graphics and will have a turn based combat system. The characters in the game will be able to learn skills and Isaac will have customizable abilities in the form of “gear” items.

The official website also updated with screenshots for the game along with a key visual.

Yoshihiko Toda will be the director of the game and Jun Yokota (SYUPRO-DX) will be working as the scenario writer.

No other details are confirmed at this time so stay tuned for updates.
