After months following the previous Tamashii Nations event where S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Titas was previewed, we currently have its release details. Unfortunately, to many fans dismay S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Titas is scheduled to be a Premium Bandai exclusive. Now, for those unaware Ultraman Titas is the secondary Ultra in most recent series, Ultraman Taiga. The character’s origins is from Planet U40 the birthplace of Ultraman Joneus, and became a member of the Tri-Squad. As a member of the Tri-Squad, Titas shares Hiroyuki Kudo as his host with Taiga and Fuma. Titas has become the breakout member of the team by fans for being its heavy hitter with buns-of-steel. Pre-orders for S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Titas will open on Thursday, March 19 at 4:00 p.m. JST. The figure is priced at 7150 yen, with orders scheduled to ship in September 2020. Those interested in purchasing the item should contact a middleman service as soon as possible. However, North America fans are hoping that orders for S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Titas open on Premium Bandai USA, so stay tuned.
Ultraman Taiga is the 31st entry in Tsuburaya Productions Ultra series. The series ran from July 6 to December 28, 2019 for a total of 26 episodes. The series was not simulcast internationally through Crunchyroll, but was streamed raw without subtitles on Tsuburaya’s official YouTube Channel. However, there are rumors to possibly release the series subbed and dubbed, as well as be distributed on home video by Mill Creek Entertainment in 2020.
