Super7 has recently unveiled the first wave of their Transformers Ultimates line. For those who are not aware, the Ultimates line by Super7 consists of 7 inch scaled collector figures that span from several franchises such as Thundercats, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and more. Looking at the figures it seems that the Transformers Ultimates will be an homage to the Transformers Action Masters toyline. This is not the first time Transformers has delved into the non transforming articulated format as the brand previously tackled it with the Action Master line in the early 90s and the recently released Transformers R.E.D. figures.
The first wave of figures will include:
- Optimus Prime
- Banzai-Tron
- Bombshell
- Starscream’s Ghost
Each figure will retail for $55 and will include a wide range of accessories. The figures are currently available for pre-order on Super7’s website and other online retailers such as BBTS and Entertainment Earth. Additionally, Super7 will also be selling the set as a bundle priced at $220. Pre-orders for the first wave will be open until Sunday, February 28, 2021 on Super7’s website and the set will be released this Winter.
