We have some interesting news coming out of Paramount. Thanks to Variety, we have learned that Paramount is developing a third “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” film two years after Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. Yet, it feels like it was longer than that. Also, it made me realize I still need to watch Out of the Shadows since I still have not seen it. Anyways here is some things we do know about the third film. Andrew Dodge is set to write the script. Whereas, Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller through their Platinum Dunes production company are set to be the producers. Finally, this will be a reboot of the Ninja Turtles film franchise. Outside of that, we know nothing else at this time.
Overall, I am interested in seeing where this will go. I am hoping instead of the live-action route we could go more animation. With the success of Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse I think that film has opened the door to more comic book franchises doing a animated film instead of going live-action.
