Recently during the Tsuburaya Convention, Ponyon Canyon announced that Trigger and Tsuburaya Productions are continuing with the Gridman anime series. The new project within the “Gridman Universe” is currently titled SSSS.Dynazenon. The name is an obvious reference to the original tokusatsu series’ ally mecha, God Zenon and Dyna Dragon. Along with the announcement came a teaser video that recaps the SSSS.Gridman anime series before closing on our first glimpse of SSSS.DynaZenon; fans can view the teaser provided below:
The staff of SSSS.Gridman is scheduled to return for this new project at studio Trigger such as director Akira Amemiya, and Ultraman Nexus writer Keiichi Hasegawa. Other returning staff members include character designer Masaru Sakamoto and composer Shiro Sagisu. Currently, no other details regarding the project’s release date and format have been confirmed, so please stay tuned for more updates.
