Earlier today, the official Star Wars Youtube channel has updated with a new trailer for the second season of The Bad Batch. For those who are not aware, the first season of the series debuted on Disney+ on Friday, May 7, 2021 and concluded on August 13, 2021. The latest trailer features a deeper look at the season including the return of some fan favorite characters from Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The second season of The Bad Batch will premiere on January 4, 2023.
After seeing the trailer it has increased my hype for the second season. While I did enjoy the first season I can not deny it was a slow burn. It was nice to see focus on a specific team from start to finish, however that did kind of lead to the overall slow pace of the series. That being said since this season will be set deep into Order 66’s early years it should pick up the action.
