Nintendo has updated their official Youtube channel with a cinematic trailer for Star Wars: Hunters. For those who are not aware, the game was first unveiled during the February 2021 Nintendo Direct. The trailer features a look at several of the characters and the setting of the game, but unfortunately does not show actual gameplay. Star Wars: Hunters will be released as a free to play title for the Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android in 2022.

So far I do like what I see in the trailer in terms of overall design premise, however without actually seeing any game footage it does not to a whole lot for me. Also being a free to play title in mind it does bring some major worry of the “pay to win” situation. That being said hopefully actual gameplay footage will be shown in the near future.
