Digivolving Spirits Wargreymon Details Revealed

Bandai Tamashii has updated their official website with new details for the upcoming Digivolving Spirits Wargreymon.

The figure will be released in November priced at 7020 Yen and will surprisingly be a retail release.   The figure will feature die-cast and better proportioned molded parts that help the figure look better than the older figure designs.

Bandai Tamashii also provided a quick promo for the figure.

Next, the director of Digimon Adventure/ Digimon Adventure 02 Hiroyoki Kakudo and chief designer, Kenji Watanabe had this to say about the new toyline.

I’m filled with deep emotion to know that Digimon has been loved for such a long time and to see this new product series, the “Digivolving Spirits” coming out. It’s a nice surprise for me to be able to comment like this even 18 years after the first season of Digimon. I know everyone is excited about this new figure series, but I bet I’m the most excited.

Digivolving Series”, which was the memorable first transforming figures produced by Wiz Co.,Ltd., has been revived!
I’m really happy that this time we are able to fully commit to excellence and include all the details that were not in the previous series as they were made for children. Both of Agumon and WarGreymon’s proportions are so cool! I hope you like them!

Lastly, it has been revealed that the next figure in the line will be none other than Metalgarumon.

Coming at you with some anime news, we’ve learned that the English dub of Lupin III: Part IV will be premiering on Toonami on June 17th. The dub was previewed at Katsucon earlier this year. I originally was going to attend it and see it myself but I decided to hang out with a few friends instead. To quote what we know about Lupin III: Part IV.

The story of the new series takes place in Italy and San Marino, and it features a blue-jacketed Lupin in his 20s. The series open with an invitation to Lupin’s wedding to a new character named Rebecca (played by Yukiyo Fujii in the Japanese version).

So let me know if you will be watching this on Toonami. Matter of fact, tell me your history with the Lupin series. As always I’m XBen3000 and I’m out!
