McFarlane Toys Acquires “DC Multiverse Collector Figures” License For 2020

This past December 2018, we got word that Mattel would be losing the DC Comics license for the Boys Action category. Additional information, did confirm that Mattel would be retaining the Girls Toy and Preschool toy license, presumably to continue producing DC Super Hero Girls and Imaginext DC Super Friends respectively. DC Essentials Action Figure Line Announced [SDCC 2017]

Ahead of San Diego Comic-Con 2017 preview night, DC Collectibles (via IGN) have revealed a new action figure line known as DC Essentials. This line is described to be an evergreen line that features DC Comics characters primarily in their DC Universe Rebirth costumes. These 6.75 inch tall action figures are similar to the recent DC Icons line by featuring multiple points of articulation and accessories.
