[Tokyo Comic Con] AKARI: Tokusatsu Re-Imagined Campaign Announced

Recently at Tokyo Comic Con, former Tsuburaya Productions director and producer Takeshi Yagi announced a new tokusatsu project. Titled, AKARI, the production is a proof-of-concept that is in association with the online video service, Narō. For those unaware, Narō is an on-demand video service that creates programs on Japanese culture, and veterans from its professions. Ultraman Max to Premiere on Olympusat’s Toku HD Channel

The official twitter page for the Toku HD Channel has updated with the announcement that Ultraman Max will premiere on the network on February 27 at 7 PM PST. For those who aren’t aware, the Toku HD network is the current re-branding of Olympusat’s FUNimation channel, a 24 hour cable network.
