Hasbro Pulse recently held a new Fan First Friday, which featured a look at some new Transformers products that will be released. Hasbro has recently updated Hasbropulse with a new Haslab project. This time they will be offering the evil Unicron. For those who are not aware Unicron was a evil planet destroyer who made his debut appearance in The Transformers The Movie aka the original Generation One film. He also made an appearance in the long running Transformers marvel comics. A different interpretation of the character also appeared in Transformers: Armada/ Transformers: Micron Legend and also had a toy exclusive design in the Transformers: Cybertron toyline. Transformers: The Movie Special One Day Theatrical Release Announced

It has recently been announced that The Transformers: The Movie will be returning to theaters this Fall. As a special one day event the original Transformers movie will be screened at theaters on September 27 at 7 P.M. at select theaters. Hasbro Studios will be teaming up with Fathom Events and Shout! Factory to bring the classic movie on screen once again. The film will feature the 4K Remaster seen on Shout Factory’s Blu-Ray release. Autobase Aichi on twitter has recently revealed official images of the upcoming Transformers Takara Legends figures. The latest reveals include: LG-44 Sharkticon with Sweeps LG-45 Hot Rodimus LG-46 Char (Kup) Both LG-45 Hot Rodimus & LG-46 Char (Kup) will retail for 4,320 Yen and LG -44 Sharkticon will retail for 2160 Yen. While Hasbro has done a decent job in their versions of the Titan Returns figures, I personally think that their version of Blurr is the most inexcusable. Usually I am okay with Hasbro’s paint schemes, however this time I feel as though they cheaped out a little too much on the paint.
