Thundercats Film Adaptation in the Works
Deadline has reported that Adam Wingard has been hired to direct a Thundercats film adaptation for Warner Bros. According to Deadline, the film was originally being developed by Rideback’s Dan Lin with the help of Vertigo’s Roy Lee. The new script for the film will be written by Wingard alongside Simon Barett. Entertainment Weekly has recently revealed that a new Thundercats animated series is in the works. Warner Bros. Animation will be producing the show for Cartoon Network a comedy based on show, which makes it quite different compared to the previous two incarnations.
