The Hollywood Reporter has reported that a sequel to Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge is in the works. For those who are not familiar with the first film, “Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge,” is an animated film adaptation of the Mortal Kombat game franchise that was released in 2020. Warner Bros. to Produce Live-Action “Hourman” Film

Deadline has reported that Warner Bros. is currently working on production a live-action film adaptation of Hourman. The film will be produced by Warner Bros. with the help of D.C. films. Chernin Entertainment has been brought on board as one of the producers of the film. The script will be written by Gavin Games and Neil Widener. The Hollywood Reporter has reported that Angel Manuel Soto will be directing the live-action film adaptation of the Blue Beetle. Warner Archive, the Manufactured on Demand (MOD) division of Warner Bros Home Entertainment, has announced their newest DC Universe Blu-Ray release. Releasing this July is Legion of Super Heroes: The Complete Series. Originally aired between 2006-2008 on Kids WB, Legion of Super Heroes ran for two seasons with a total of 26 episodes. The Wrap has reported that comic book writer Tom King will be working as the co-writer on DC’s “The New Gods.” He will be working alongside Ava DuVernay, who was confirmed to be the director on the project last year. This past December 2018, we got word that Mattel would be losing the DC Comics license for the Boys Action category. Ewan McGregor in Talks to Play Black Mask in DC’s “Birds of Prey”

Variety has reported that Ewan McGregor is in talks to portray Black Mask in the upcoming DC Extended Universe film, “Birds of Prey.”    For those are not aware, the film will focus on the Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Windstead), Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), and Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) as they team-up to fight against Black Mask.
