Netflix has updated their official Youtube channel with the trailer for the second chapter in the Transformers: War for Cybertron trilogy that was first shown during the Hasbropulse Con 2020 stream. Following the toyline name, the second chapter will be called Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy: Earthrise. The trailer features a look at the setting of the season. Some of the highlights includes a look at a new Mercenary team and what looks like the potential fate of Ultra Magnus after the events of the first season. No other details are confirmed at this time so stay tuned for updates.
With the Allspark gone, Megatron is forced to confront the harsh reality that his Decepticons are trapped on a dying Cybertron. Meanwhile, lost in the darkest reaches of space, Optimus Prime and his team embark on a desperate mission, unexpectedly running into … the spacefaring Mercenaries.
Overall the first season was alright start the series, although it was pretty slow at times. This season definitely looks like the series will be picking up especially since it is going to be amazing to see Doubledealer make a debut appearance in American Transformers show. Hopefully we will see the release date for this season soon and I also hope the season will be longer than the first.
