The Wrap has reported that Ursula Corbero will be joining the cast of “Snake Eyes” as the Baroness. For those who are not aware, the Baroness is a long time villainous in the G.I. Joe franchise and served as Cobra’s intelligence officer/ lieutenant. She first debuted in first issue of G.I Joe: A Real American Hero comic series by Marvel. The character later crossed over into the original animated series and received a figure in Hasbro’s G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero toyline in 1984. The character previously made a live-action appearance in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra portrayed by Sienna Miller.
The confirmed cast so far includes:
- Henry Golding: Snake Eyes
- Andrew Koji: Storm Shadow
- Iko Uwais: Hard Master
- Ursula Corbero: Anastasia Cisarovna/ Baroness
