Earlier today, Netflix has released a promotional video for the upcoming live-action adaptation of Cowboy Bebop anime series. The promotional video features a look at John Cho (Spike Spiegal), Mustafa Shakir (Jet Black) and Daniella Pineda (Faye Valentine) jamming to the iconic theme song of the series. Additionally, the video revealed that legendary Japanese music composer, Yoko Kanno, will be returning to work on the series’ soundtrack. For those who are not aware, she originally composed the original series’ theme song titled, “Tank!.” The promotional video also revealed that the series is set to premiere on the service this Fall.

As reported earlier, Alex Garica Lopez will directing the first two episodes of the series and the first episode will be written by Christopher Yost. The live-action series adaptation was in the works since 2017 by Tomorrow Studios and the first season is set to consist of 10 episodes.
