Action Lab Previews “Manga Month Throwback”

Action Lab Entertainment kindly asked us to spotlight its “manga-esque” series Shinobi: Ninja Princess by Martheus Wade. Action Lab Entertainment currently has two trade paperback volume collections, one hardcover collection, and one digital release for this series. These releases cover a major chunk of the series, when they are all assembled together. Below is breakdown on what each release contains:

Series Synopsis:

Shinobi: Ninja Princess is about fourteen year old Shianndrea a typical teenage girl who’s in love with a boy, who is popular and already dating someone else, has a rival and oh yes, is also a ninja.


Shianndrea navigates her life and defending Japan while learning about the power she has within her. Each volume has her focusing on herself, then learning to become a powerful ninja warrior as she learns more about herself.


Then she goes on to fight a powerful Oni and has her life shaken up more than it has been in later volumes and even learns about fighting games on Christmas. Shianndrea leads quite the life and it’s all in these volumes.


Shinobi: Ninja Princess Hardcover Collection, contains all of the main Shinobi: Ninja Princess story featured in both volumes 1 and 2. In addition, the hardcover even contains production artwork and character biographies as extras. There over 320 pages for readers to enjoy, and for only $19.99.

  • Shinobi: Ninja Princess Volume 1: In the first volume trade paperback collection, readers will witness Shianndrea focusing on her life and discovering who she is and what the power she has within her. This volume also feature additional art by Adam Shaw, and nearly consists of 200 pages for the price of $19.99.
  • Shinobi: Ninja Princess Volume 2 – The Lightning Oni: In the second volume trade paperback collection, the stakes have raised as Shianndrea must fight the powerful lightning Oni, Yawata, and on top of that her life has been thrown upside down. Fans can enjoy almost over 130 pages of action and more for $14.99.
  • Shinobi: Ninja Princess – Illuminations: In this special Christmas story Shianndrea sees her teammate Hamasuke wandering around New Tokyo, she decides to follow after him. This leads Shianndrea on an adventure where she is thrust into the world of competitive fighting games. Shinobi: Ninja Princes – Illuminations is a digital release that is currently available on Comixology for $1.99.
