Code Geass Compilation Film Trilogy Details Revealed

The official Code Geass twitter page has updated with new details about the upcoming film trilogy, which is a compilation of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2. 

The trilogy will be composed of

  • Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion – The Awakening Path (October 21)
  • Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion – The Rebellion Path (February 2018)
  • Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion – The Imperial Path (May 2018)

First, a new trailer for the upcoming compilation film trilogy was revealed.

In addition to trailer, new poster visuals illustrated by Takahiro Kimura were revealed.

The Code Geass Compilation Film trilogy recaps all 50 episodes of the series and will feature newly recorded lines by the original cast. The film will also feature some new scenes.

Two new spinoff projects will also be released this Fall on the official Yatate Bunko website. The first project will be called,  Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion – Lancelot & Guren,” which will feature new stories about Suzaku and Kallen that were not featured in the original anime series.  The project will be written by Bisui Takahashi and Takahiro Kimura will be working on the character designs. The Knightmare Frames designs will be illustrated by Astrays. 

The second project will be titled, ” Code Geass Story Fragment – Piece of the Mosaic,” which is an omnibus that will feature six different characters who was affected the events of the series.

Japanese fans can also watch re-runs of the original Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion and Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 anime series on the BS11 network starting at 7:oo P.M. JPST on October 1.  Two episodes will be aired weekly every Sunday.
