After months of anticipation, fans can finally Pre-Order Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Versus Maxiboost ON in the west. The home port of the 2016 Japanese arcade game was announced back in January. The game has had Closed Network Test and the first round of the Open Access Beta, but only has just now been put up for Pre-Order in western regions. Japanese physical edition Pre-Orders began in May 2020, with digital edition Pre-Orders beginning June 22, 2020. To coincide with this, North American and European digital Pre-Orders have opened as well. The lack of a physical release outside Japan may be due to a dissatisfaction in physical sales for Gundam Versus and New Gundam Breaker. The game is still set for a worldwide launch on July 30, 2020. The Open Access Beta is still running every Friday to Saturday until the game’s launch.
