Recently, Deadline has reported that Natasha Liu Bordizzo has been cast in Star Wars: Ahsoka as Sabine Wren. For those who are not aware, Sabine Wren made her debut on Star Wars: Rebels, and was originally voiced by Tiya Sicar. She will joining alongside Rosario Dawson, who will be returning to portray Ahsoka in the series. Currently no other details about the project are confirmed at this time so stay tuned for updates.
While it is awesome to hear that Sabine is set to appear in Star Wars: Ahsoka, it is sad to see Tiya not reprise her role in live-action similar to Katee Sackhoff, who returned to play Bo-Katan. That being said it is still great that show will most likely also feature Ezra Bridger and Thrawn if the pattern continues.
