Netflix has recently updated their official Youtube channel with a new trailer for Knights of the Zodiac: Saint Seiya. For those who are not aware, the series is a remake of the original Saint Seiya anime series. The current series will cover the “Galaxy War Arc,” and will continue up to the “Silver Saint Arc.” Each episode will run for 30 minutes and the series will consist of 12 episodes. Now, the latest trailer features a preview of the English Dub for the series, and takes a look at the setting of the series. Netflix’s Knights of the Zodiac: Saint Seiya will premiere on the platform on July 19.
In ancient times, a group of young men devoted their lives to protecting Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom and War. Now, in present day, a young orphan Seiya and a new generation of Saints is about to come forth to aid Athena in battle against those who seek to end mankind. Personally I still really do not know what to think about this series especially with the jarring animation. The overall setting looks about close to what was featured in the original series, but the movements of the characters kind of hurt the presentation in my opinion. It is very possible it could end up as a decent remake although only time will tell.
