Female-Led Spinoff “Arrow” Spinoff Series in Production

The Hollywood Reporter has reported that a new spinoff series based on several key female characters featured on Arrow is currently in production. The series is set to feature Mia Smoak/Green Arrow (Kathernine McNamara), Laurel Lance (Kattie Cassidy), and Dinah Drake (Juliana Harkavy). The series will first start as a “backdoor pilot” in the final season of Arrow, which will premiere on October 15. Beth Schwartz, Marc Guggenheim, Jill Blankenship and Oscar Balderrama will be working as the co-writers as well as the executive producers of the episode.
