TurboGrafx-16 Mini Announced

Following the many “mini” releases from the various game companies, Konami has unveiled they are continuing the trend with the release of the TurboGrafx-16 Mini. For those who are not aware the TurboGrafx-16 (released in Japan/ France as the the PC Engine) was a cartridge based gaming console that was released in 1989. Unlike other cartridge based consoles at the time the system used cards. This Mini system will include various titles that was released for the TurboGrafx-16 in North America as well as several PC Engine games (Japanese only).

Konami also provided an official video for the TurboGrafx-16 on their official Youtube channel.

The system will feature quick saves and will also feature various display modes such as scanlines. The system will include one controller, however extra controllers will be available separately as well as a multitap device that will allow up to five players to play with the console.  The system will be released in North America on March 19, 2020, although pricing details have not been confirmed at this time.
