Unboxing Toy Con 2019: Transformers Studio Series Reveals

Hasbro has recently released the official images for the new Transformers Studio Series releases that were revealed at Unboxing Toy Con 2019. Now, the revealed figures are set to release sometime in 2020. Yet, while no new Studio Series releases were shown at San Diego Comic Con this year it is great to see new releases being shown for the line outside of United States first.

The figures include:

  • Bumblebee (Transformers 2007)
  • Arcee, Chromia, Elita-1 Three Pack (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen)
  • Soundwave with Lazerbeak (Transformers: Dark of the Moon)
  • WWII Autobot Hot Rod (Transformers: The Last Knight)

Honestly, it is quite amazing to finally see a Soundwave from Transformers: Dark of the Moon finally hit retail in North America. It was a shame to see that Hasbro was unable to release any major version of the character in North America in the past, so I am glad to see them remedy it. Whereas, the new Bumblebee while I do not need it helps to complete the Autobots from the 2007 film. However, the Decepticons still need their leader in the form of that rumored Leader Class Megatron (Transformers 2007), which could be in our future. Nevertheless, I hope it is announced soon since the original Leader has not aged well, and the Masterpiece is currently out my range.
