Netflix has recently announcement on their official Twitter page that they will be streaming the live-action Hollywood film adaptation of Mobile Suit Gundam. Additionally, Netflix announced that Jordan Vogt-Roberts will be working as the director/ producer on the project. Kaiju fans should recognize Jordan Vogt-Roberts as he was the director of the 2017 Kong Skull Island film. Jason Young and Cale Boyter have also been hired on the project as overseers. As reported several years ago, Brian K. Vaughan was confirmed to the be the head writer on the project. The project is being produced by Sunrise with the help of Legendary Pictures. No other details are confirmed about the project at this time, so stay tuned for further updates.
