Coming at you with some comic news from yesterday. We’ve learned that Jessica Jones will be getting her own ongoing series come Marvel NOW! relaunch this fall. We have the original creative team for Alias returning for this series. In case you don’t know its Brian Michael Bendis, Michael Gaydos and David Mack. Apparently Jessica’s will be dealing with having her world “blown up in her face”. To quote Bendis interview with IGN about the series.
“You’re going to find out about it in the first issue. We’re going to open up a book where Jessica’s world has blown up in her face. She’s at a place you’ll least expect her,” said Bendis. “You’re going to find all of her relationships have altered. And we’re slowly going to find out why. I do like writing Jessica where we have to figure out why this has happened.”
Personally, I was hoping someone else would have the chance to write Jessica Jones in a solo series but it is Bendis and Gaydos baby so I understand. I just hope Bendis doesn’t try to ruin the marriage she has with Luke Cage. Overall, I’m hoping for the best with this series. Like always comment down below and let us know what you think.
