Official Images: S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Ginga

Tamashii has updated their official listings with their October retail releases. Now, among these newest items is S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Ginga, based on the titular character of the actual series,  Ultraman Ginga. For those who are unaware, Ultaman Ginga is apart of the New Ultraman Retsuden programming block, which aired from July 10, 2013 to December 18, 2013 in Japan. However, unlike future Ultra series this one was not simulcast on Crunchyroll, but made available on the service for instant streaming.

Then as for S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Ginga, the figure seemingly comes with few accessories; those accessory being based on Ginga’s transformation device/ weapon and signature attack. Now, just like in the series the Ginga Spark, Hikaru Raidou’s transformation device becomes a the Ginga Spark Lance. The lance accessory will be produced in bright blue and possibly luminescent plastic, omitting its base metallic details. In addition, Ginga’s other accessory is his signature L-shaped beam attack, the Ginga Cross Shoot; this version of the attack looks more impressive as compared to the original Ultra-Act’s rendition of the attack. The figure will also include three pairs of optional hands, and an optional color timer. However, unlike the Ultra-Act this figure will not include his Ginga Slash effect or any other attacks. Now, as mentioned before S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Ginga is a October 2019 retail release. The item is priced at 6050 yen via Bandai, but will actual vary from retailer to retailer. Pre-orders for this item and other Tamashii Nations October releases are set to open this Monday, February 3.
