An early release scan of the 38th issue to Berserk in Japan (to be released on June 24th) has revealed a release date for the upcoming Berserk Musou game made by Koei Tecmo. The release date for the game will be September 21st for Japan on the PS3, PS4 and Vita, with no announcement for the western release yet which will be on the PS4, Vita, and Steam. Also in a recent interview with producer Hisashi Koinuma, he stated his interest in developing an Xbox One port for the international release, and a Steam version for the domestic release. He went on about how the game will be beginning from the start of the Berserk Timeline and going on to where the newest anime will pick up. They are doing this so that players who pick up the game without any knowledge of the franchise may learn of the story and not be lost. He continued to explain that he strives for the game to have a CERO D [17+] (Japan’s rating system) rating, as their company does not produce CERO Z [18+] titles.
