Today, Tamashii Nations announced that they will be officially releasing S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Z Original. This figure is based on the previous Ultra series’ titular character in their original form. In the series, Ultraman Z began as a standard Ultra from M-78, before merging with Haruki and using the Zett Riser. This form is rarely used by Ultraman Z when on Earth, as he requires Fusion Rises to maintain his physical form. However, Ultraman Z was forced into using his original form to finish his battle with Celebro’s Destrudos. Now, below is the official gallery and content listings for the figure from Bandai:
This figure will contain:
- 6 Pairs of Optional Hands
- Optional Red Color Timer
- Zestium Ray Effect Piece
Fans of the series, like us, assumed the figure would be a Premium Bandai release, but we were surprisingly wrong. Thankfully, S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Z Original is scheduled to be a retail release for September 2021. Currently, the item is priced at 4,950 yen, but it will vary between retailers. Whereas, retailer can officially begin to accept pre-orders for this item on Wednesday, April 28. Furthermore, we are unaware if this item will be distributed by Bluefin Brands in North America.
