Over the weekend, the official My Hero Academia film website updated with a new visual for the film. The latest features a look at Melissa and Devitt, who are two new characters that will make a debut appearance in the film. Mirai Shida will be voicing Melissa, who is a “quirkless girl,” and meets Deku on I Island. Her friend’s father, Devitt, will be voiced by Katushisa Namase. Devitt is a scientist who specializes in creating support items for heroes and was a friend of All Might when they were younger. Melissa tries her best to follow in Devitt’s footsteps. Funimation To Simuldub First Six Episodes of My Hero Academia Season 3

Funimation Entertainment has announced that they will be simildubbing the first six episodes of My Hero Academia Season 3 simultaneously as it premieres in Japan on April 7. The series will also simulcast on Crunchyroll and Hulu with the original Japanese audio and English subtitles on the same day. Funimation Entertainment also provided a trailer on their official Youtube channel. Betten Court, the illustrator for the My Hero Academia manga spin-off series titled, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, has recently posted the cover for the third volume of the manga. Shout Factory has announced that they will be releasing the Halo Legends Anthology in North America.  For those who are unaware the Halo Legends Anthology is a collection of short anime films centered around the Halo franchise. The films were produced by various animation teams, which include: Bee Train, Bones, Casio Entertainent, Production I.G., Studio 4, Studio 4°C, and Toei Animation.  The series was directed by Frank O’ Conner and Joseph Chou.  The films were originally released by Warner Bros. in 2010 so it has been quite some time that there were available on the market. Funimation to Distribute Eureka Seven Film Trilogy In US Theaters

Bandai Visual has announced at Anime Boston 2017 that Funimation will be distributing the Eureka Seven Film Trilogy – Eureka Seven: Hi-Evolution in US theaters. The project is produced by Studio Bones. The first part of the trilogy will be released this Fall in Japan with the following two parts being released in 2018 and 2019.  While there aren’t many details about the release in other territories, it has been confirmed that they are working to bring the films to Australia, UK, France, Signapore, Malayasia, Indonesia, and Thailand in the future.
