Recently, Toho Studios published an announcement on the Godzilla YouTube Channel regarding their upcoming Godzilla vs. Gigan 50th anniversary project. Titled, “Toho & Wakasa Announce Gigan Suit START UP Project!” the video is hosted by veteran kaiju suit designer, Shinichi Wakasa. During Tamashii Nations Online 2021, it was finally announced that Final-Goji from Godzilla: Final Wars would receive a S.H.MonsterArts release. Then immediately following the event, Tamashii Nations confirmed the figure would be releasing in the distant future at retail. Tamashii Nations recently announced that they will be reissuing S.H.MonsterArts Gigan (2004) from Godzilla: Final Wars. However, like previous reissues the item will be a Premium Bandai release, and it will feature new accessories. The original S.H.MonsterArts Gigan (2004) was released seven years ago in April 2014.
