After the grand finals of the Tekken 7 tournament at the EVO 2017 championships, Katsuhiro Harada, director of Tekken 7, and Dragon Ball FighterZ producer Tomoko Hiroki appeared on stage. The two mentioned that they had a few announcements to make. Today, Netflix released a full trailer for the upcoming live-action Death Note movie. This new 2-minute trailer finally sheds some light onto the shinigami known as Ryuk. Willem Dafoe’s villainous-like voice cuts through immensely, giving Ryuk that menacing and mysterious facade. The trailer also gives fans a look at how Kira/ Light attempts to change the world. Late last night, Tsuburaya Productions listed on their YouTube Channel a new promotional video for the upcoming Ultra series, Ultraman Geed. The trailer opens with an almost typical slideshow narration setting up the series’ backstory. The backstory features Ultraman Belial’s fight with the Space Garrison, and the creation of the Ultra Capsules.
