Gavan vs. Dekaranger – New Cast Members Revealed

The official website for the Space Sheriff Gavan Vs. Dekaranger film has recently updated with the reveal of some new cast members. The new cast members include: Kenji Ohba – Retsu Ichijouji/Space Sheriff Gavan Jyunichi Haruta – Mad Gallant (Kyojuu Tokusou Juspion) Mikie Hara –  Benikiba (Sekai Ninja Sen Jiraiya) Ryoko Yui – Sophie Toru Inada – Doggie Kruger  Mako Ishino – Swan Shiratori  The film will premiere in Japan on June 17, 2017 in theaters and will be released on DVD/ Blu-ray on July 19, 2017. Tamashii Lab: Space Sheriff Gavan Laser Blade Promo Streamed

Bandai Tamashii has recently updated their official Youtube channel with the preview for the upcoming Tamashii Lab: Space Sheriff Gavan Laser Blade. The promo features the first full look of the toy in action as well as revealing that the blade has a IR sensor, which will allow the user to help recreate Gavan’s famous Gavan Dynamic Attack.  By pressing the button on the hilt of the blade it make attack sounds with their associated in show phrases and also play sound BGMs. The promo features Kenji Ohba demonstrated the effects of the toy.   The item will be released…

Uchuu Keiji Gavan Blu-ray Box Sets Announced

Recently, it has been revealed that the Uchuu Keiji Gavan series will be released on Blu-ray.  The series will be broken up into two box sets with the first being released on January 11, 2017.  The following set will be released on March 8.   The set will include a special interview with Osamu Kaneda, Kenji Ohba, and Jun Murakami. Toei Announces Space Sheriff Gavan vs Dekaranger & Girls in Trouble Episode Zero

Toei has recently announced that the cast of Dekaranger will be making a reappearance in two special crossover films with the team of Space Sheriff Gavan.  Both films will be released in 2017 under the new “Space Squad” banner. The first of the two films is named Space Sheriff Gavan vs Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger.  The film will feature the return of Yuma Ishigaki who appeared in Space Sheriff Gavan : The Movie in 2012 and the Space Sheriff Next Generation films in 2015.   The film will feature the two teams joining forces to fight a major space crime organization.
