Today, the toy company Banpresto has been dissolved and merged into Bandai Namco Holdings’ subsidiary, Bandai Spirits. This news was reported via the National Printing Bureau’s Kanpō publication which revealed Bandai Spirits has taken over all rights and duties of the former company. Banpresto was originally founded in 1977, as Hoei Sangyo, Co. Ltd. before being renamed as Coreland in 1982.
