Loki & Scarlet Witch to Receive TV Series on Disney’s Streaming Service

Variety has reported that Loki and Scarlett Witch will apparently receive their own shows on the upcoming Disney streaming service. While much is not known about the projects currently, it has been reported that Tom Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen are set to reprise their roles for the shows. According to their sources the shows “are expected to be hefty rivaling those of a major studio productions.” In addition, it is said that both shows will include up to six to eight episodes. Jon Favreau Announced As Execute Producer & Writer For Live-Action Star Wars Series

The official Star Wars website has updated with an announcement that Jon Favreau has been confirmed as the executive producer and writer for a live-action Star Wars series that will be released exclusively on Disney’s upcoming streaming service. Those who are unaware, Jon Favreau, has worked on several Marvel films that are apart of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the past. Star Wars Live-Action Series Announced

Polygon has recently reported that a live-action series based on the Star Wars franchise is currently in the works. While there isn’t much information revealed about the series at this time it has been confirmed that it will be exclusive to the upcoming Disney streaming service.  The series will premiere on the service in 2019 along with other shows based on a Marvel property, Monster’s Inc, and one based on the High School Musical franchise.
