SDCC 2018: Star Wars the Black Series 6 Inch Exclusives Revealed

Entertainment Weekly has recently reported details about some of the exclusives that Hasbro will be offering at San Diego Comic Con 2018.  The first exclusive release is a new set in the Star Wars the Black Series Centerpiece sets, which for those who aren’t familiar with, are statue like figures with premium sculpts and dioramas.  The set features the battle of Rey and Kylo Ren on Starkiller Base, which was the climatic battle from Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. The set will be available at Hasbro’s Booth #3329 at SDCC 2018 and will retail for $109.99.  The second revealed set is…

The official Kingdom Hearts twitter page has updated with a new trailer for Kingdom Hearts III. The latest trailer, which was first featured during the Square Enix E3 2018 presentation reveals a look at some new scenes not featured in the previous E3 trailer. Some of the highlights of the trailer includes a look at Remy from Disney Pixar’s Ratatouille, who is either a summoning or from a potential world in the game, along with showing more scenes that feature several members of Organization XIII. SDCC 2018: Star Wars The Vintage Collection Dr. Aphra, 0-0-0, & B-T1 Special Action Figure Set Announced

iO9 has revealed one of Hasbro’s exclusives at San Diego Comic Con 2018. The first exclusive set will be apart of Star Wars The Vintage Collection and will include Dr. Aphra, 0-0-0, and B-T1. Fans of the ongoing Star Wars comics by Marvel will recognize these characters as they appeared quite a bit. The figures will be released in a Special Action Figure Set styled box similar to several releases in Kenner’s original Star Wars toyline. The set will retail for $50 and will be released exclusively at SDCC 2018 and on Hasbrotoyshop after the con. Disney/Lucasfilm have recently announced the details for Star Wars Celebration 2019. For those who are are unaware, Star Wars Celebration is a fan gathering that celebrates the Star Wars franchise. The first Star Wars Celebration was held in 1999 in Denver, Colorado. The recent event took place in 2017 in Orlando, Florida. Star Wars Celebration 2019 will be held at the Mccormick Place in Chicago, IL on April 11-15, 2019. The official Star Wars website has updated with the announcement for the next animated project based on the Star Wars franchise.  The new series will be titled, “Star Wars Resistance,” which is set to premiere on the Disney Channel in the U.S. and on Disney XD worldwide this Fall. Star Wars Resistance is stated to be “anime-inspired” so it will differ from the various animated series based on the franchise.
