Today, Mill Creek Entertainment officially announced their second wave of the Ultra series Blu-Ray releases. This new wave will consist of the third series in the franchise, Ultraseven, as well as two series from the New Generations Heroes era: Ultraman Orb and Ultraman Geed. Mill Creek Entertainment Acquired the ULTRA Series Library for Physical & Digital North American Distribution

Today, Mill Creek Entertainment in cooperation with Indigo Entertainment announced they have acquired the license for Tsuburaya Productions’ Ultra series library for North American distribution. Indigo, on the behalf of Tsuburaya, developed this deal to assist in bringing back the Ultra series to North America. The Hollywood Reporter has reported that an Ultraman “reboot” is in the works for the international market. The project will be produced by Tsuburaya Productions and US based Starlight Runner Entertainment. Starlight Runner Entertainment will be working with The Licensing Group to release the series “across multiple platforms, with story-driven licensing and merchandising programs for the U.S. and international markets.” The project is stated to be produced as a series that will be released on a streaming platform.   For those who are not aware, Ultraman is a long running tokusatsu series that was created by Eiji Tsuburaya. Last night, Tamashii Nations released the information for the next Ultraman related S.H.Figuarts. That next S.H.Figuarts is for Ancient Monster, Gomora!  Gomora original appeared in the original Ultraman series, and has been main a Kaiju in the franchise. S.H.Figuarts Gomora is based off his original debut in Episode 26, and Episode 27. The figure allows one to recreate the infamous battle it had with Ultraman.
