Brendan Fraser Cast as Robotman in DC’s Doom Patrol

Dealine has reported that Brendan Fraser will be providing the over voice for Robotman in DC’s Doom Patrol. While he will be voicing the character, he will also be portraying Cliff Steele before he became Robotman. It has also been revealed that Riley Shanahan will be playing the physical appearance for the character. Fraser will join alongside the previously revealed cast members, which include: April Bowlby: Elasti-Woman Diane Guerrero: Crazy Jane Joivan Wade: Cyborg As reported earlier, Jake Michaels will be portraying the character in DC’s Titans so it will be interesting to see how this will play out. Stargirl Series Coming to DC Universe

Here we have some more news coming out of San-Diego Comic-Con. From the Geoff Johns panel we’ve learned that Stargirl will have a live-action series on the app. To quote some information from The Hollywood Reporter. “Geoff Johns, who revealed the news during his spotlight panel, will write and exec produce the 13-episode scripted original series via his Mad Ghost Productions banner. Doom Patrol TV Series Announced For DC Universe Streaming Service

DC Entertainment has recently announced that a new Doom Patrol TV series will be joining the lineup for their DC Universe streaming service. The series will be produced by Berlanti Productions with the help of Warner Bros. Television. The first season of the series is currently set to 13 episodes and is said to start production later this year with the series releasing on the service in 2019.  Greg Berlanti, Geoff Johns, Jeremy Carver, and Sarah Schechter will serve as executive producers on the project. After the initial announcement last year, details have been scarce for the upcoming DC Entertainment streaming service. Today DC finally revealed the first details about the service. Den of Geek recently reported that Dwain Murphy is set to portray Larry Trainor aka Negative Man in the upcoming DC’s live-action Titans series. Den of Geek provided a description for the character. April Bowlby Cast As Elasti-Girl in DC’s Titans Series

Entertainment Weekly has reported that April Bowlby is joining the cast of DC’s Titans live-action series.  She will be portraying Rita Farr, also known as the Doom Patrol’s Elasti-Girl.  Those who aren’t familiar with the character from the comics, Rita Farr was once a Hollywood star that was later exposed to toxic gas, which modified her cell structure.  After this event she had the ability to change her size.
