Anjelika Washington Joins DC Universe’s Stargirl Cast

The official DC Universe website has updated with the announcement that Anjelika Washington will be joining the cast for the upcoming DC Universe exclusive Stargirl series.  For those who are not aware, the series was first announced at San Diego Comic Con 2018. Earlier this September, it was revealed that Brec Bassinger will be playing Stargirl in the series. Several news outlets have reported that Brec Bassinger has been cast as Stargirl in the upcoming live-action Stargirl series, which will available exclusively on DC Universe. Stargirl Series Coming to DC Universe

Here we have some more news coming out of San-Diego Comic-Con. From the Geoff Johns panel we’ve learned that Stargirl will have a live-action series on the app. To quote some information from The Hollywood Reporter. “Geoff Johns, who revealed the news during his spotlight panel, will write and exec produce the 13-episode scripted original series via his Mad Ghost Productions banner.
