Deborah Chow to Direct Disney+ “Obi-Wan Kenobi” Series

The official Star Wars website has updated with an announcement that Deborah Chow will be directing the upcoming Disney+ exclusive series based on Obi Wan Kenobi. Hossein Amini will be working as the writer on the project. Chow will serve double duty as an executive producer with the help of Amini, Ewan McGregor, Kathleen Kennedy, Tracey Seaward, and John Swartz. Lucasfilm’s Executive Vice President of Production, Jason McGatlin, will work as the co-producer. IGN has reported that Ming-Na Wen is joining the cast of Jon Favreau’s “The Mandalorian.” The news was first unveiled at D23 earlier today.
